A Health Kickstart at 50

"I am 50 years old and lead a very active life, I am an executive in a high demand organization. I have been on "keto" for 6 years, no sugar, no wheat, no potatoes, rice, pasta, bread or anything that was "not okay". Little did I know that even with a "full" keto diet, my body is on glucose-burning and I am ingesting carbs all the time. I never had this info regarding carbs. I thought that if it's "keto", it's okay. 

At the same time, I was ALWAYS hungry, could not go between lunch and dinner without having to eat a snack (of course, "keto" snack) at least once or twice. Not only was I always hungry and my attention units were stuck on this, but I have become more and more tired. In the last 12 months it reached a point where I felt like I have no energy left to drag the body. I could not walk up the stairs. I had to take the elevator and sometimes for longer walks I had a hard time making myself taking the route. It was torturous. I saw naturopaths, I did blood tests, etc. Nothing explained this. I was told it's menopause, or long COVID, etc., etc. I also had a stubborn belly - I have never been fat, but struggled with some extra kilos which I really hated as I always used to be very fit and sporty.

Then a friend started to do a diet and she lost a lot of weight. After a month I asked her what that was. She told me it's called BBHC and gave me the link. I took a test which gave some surprising results - I never knew anything would be wrong with my thyroid for example! had a consultation with Marina where I felt totally understood. I received a very simple eating plan. I freaked out that I won't be able to go between meals without dying of hunger. Well, a miracle happened! I have not been hungry at all! This ruin got handled literally the SECOND DAY of the program! Even if this was the ONLY win I had from this, it would have been worth it. I cannot tell you how life-changing it is to not have attention on my body at all and just being able to work with no distractions! I have not had this for YEARS! And, I am now running up numerous flights of stairs many times a day! I do not take the elevator, don't even think about it. My sleep is way better, I have energy and my life quality improved so much. And, I lost my stubborn belly - 6 kilos in 2 months, which is not bad for someone who was considered not fat to start with (but there is always more under the clothes that only you can see:)  

Overall, I had no idea that carbs have been poisoning my body. I will never go back to my old diet and now I will always know what to eat and what not to eat. It is like a light bulb coming on. I would have not been able to accomplish this without Marina. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I will spread the word as everyone should know this. Of course, everyone has a different body and different tolerances for things. It seems that my body has absolutely no tolerance for carbs and it just came alive as soon as I cut them out.
